Translation. This is a translation for your convenience. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
The short version. Voznet is a prepaid service for calls over the internet. You add balance, you call, and the cost is deducted per minute based on the destination rate, which the app shows you before you call. Your account is your phone number, verified with an SMS code. Voznet can't be used to call emergency numbers. If something goes wrong with a charge, message us and we'll look into it. This summary does not replace the full text.

1. Who we are
Voznet is a service of CALLPCS E.I.R.L., RUT 76.162.461-K, located at Baquedano 901, Antofagasta, Chile (from now on, "Voznet", "we" or "us").
Ways to contact us: WhatsApp +56 55 253 9432, email ventas@voznet.cl and the support chat in the app.
2. Accepting these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website voznet.cl, the Voznet app (Android and iOS) and the services we offer through them. You accept them when you:
- check the acceptance box when you sign up in the app or when you confirm an update to these terms;
- buy a top-up on voznet.cl, in the app or at a top-up location; or
- use the service.
If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be over 18, or have permission from your father, mother or legal guardian, who will be responsible for the use.
3. The Voznet service
Voznet is a prepaid service for voice calls over the internet (VoIP). From the app you can call landlines and mobile phones in Chile and other countries, even if the person you call doesn't have Voznet. We also offer Voznet balance top-ups and mobile top-ups for other people's phones.
- The call uses your internet connection (WiFi or mobile data). Data usage is charged by your internet company, not by Voznet.
- Voznet is not a mobile phone company. It doesn't give you a new phone number or replace your plan.
- Voznet can't be used to call emergency numbers (131, 132, 133, 149 or others). In an emergency, use your regular phone.
- For now, the app only makes outgoing calls. If other features are added in the future, such as receiving calls or sending SMS, we will let you know in the app.
4. Your account
- Your Voznet account is your phone number. To create it or sign in on another device, we send a code by SMS to that number. You can only register a number that is yours or that you use legitimately.
- When you sign up, you must enter your first and last name, your region and commune (or city, if your number is from another country) and an email. Your details must be true and you must keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for the use of your account and your phone. If you lose your device or change your number, let us know right away so we can lock the account and protect your balance.
- Don't share the SMS code with anyone. Voznet will never ask you for it by phone, WhatsApp or email.
5. Balance and top-ups
- Your balance is in Chilean pesos. The top-up amounts we publish are final prices.
- You can top up on voznet.cl (payment with Flow: Webpay, credit and debit cards), in the app (with the methods it shows: transfer, online payment or others) and at the authorized top-up locations we publish on voznet.cl.
- Your balance is added when the payment method confirms the payment. Bank transfers are added when we verify them. For this, they must be for the exact amount and include the reference shown in the app.
- Check the number carefully before paying. If you top up the wrong number, we can help you fix it as long as that balance hasn't been used, but we can't guarantee you will get it back.
- The balance can only be used for Voznet services. It is not money, it doesn't earn interest, it can't be exchanged for money except in the cases in section 11, and it can't be transferred to another account unless Voznet allows it.
- How long your balance lasts. Your balance doesn't expire as long as you use your account. If the account goes 12 months in a row without any call or top-up, the balance may expire. We will notify you at least 30 days before through the app, SMS or email, and any call or top-up within that period keeps your balance active.
- Promotions (for example, "top up $15.000 and pay $12.000") are only valid for the period and under the conditions published for each one.
6. Rates and call charges
- Each call is charged per minute based on the destination rate, which depends on the country, the type of number (landline or mobile) and the carrier. The app shows you the rate before and during the call. The rates published on voznet.cl are for reference ("starting from").
- The duration is measured according to the billing increment of each destination: per second or in blocks of up to 10 seconds, depending on the destination. The charge is deducted from your balance during the call or when it ends.
- Unanswered calls are not charged. A call answered by voicemail or an answering machine is charged, because for the network it is a connected call.
- If your balance runs out during a call, the call is cut off.
- We can change the rates. The rate that applies to each call is the one the app shows when you call. A change doesn't affect the balance you already added, only how many minutes it gives you.
- Your call and top-up history is in the app. If you have questions about a charge, ask us for the details.
7. Mobile top-ups for other people
A mobile top-up adds balance to another person's phone in Chile or abroad, through their carrier. It is not the same as Voznet balance and can't be used to call with the app.
- Before paying, you must check the country, the carrier, the number and the amount. Once the carrier applies the top-up, it can't be reversed.
- The amount the recipient gets, local taxes and the conditions of use of that top-up are set by the destination carrier.
- If the top-up isn't applied because of a failure on our side or the provider's, we will refund your money or repeat the top-up, whichever you prefer.
8. Quality and availability
We work to keep Voznet always running with good audio. However, the quality of an internet call depends on things we don't fully control:
- your internet connection and your network;
- the coverage and condition of the network in the destination country;
- the device you use, its battery and its settings.
We may do scheduled maintenance. If it will take long, we will let you know in advance when possible. If a failure on our side stops you from using the service or charges you for a call that couldn't be made, message us and we will return the corresponding balance.
9. Allowed and prohibited use
The service is for personal and family use. It is prohibited to:
- use it to commit fraud, scams or crimes, or to harass, threaten or bother other people;
- make mass or automated calls, unsolicited advertising, or calls to generate artificial traffic;
- resell the service or connect it to phone switchboards, "SIM box" equipment or other systems without a written agreement with Voznet;
- pretend to be another person or hide where calls come from in order to deceive;
- try to break into, copy, decompile or overload the app, the website or our systems;
- pay with payment methods that don't belong to you or that you aren't authorized to use.
If we detect any of these uses, we can suspend the account immediately, hold the balance while we investigate and, if appropriate, report it to the authorities.
10. The Voznet app
- We give you a personal, free and revocable permission to install and use the app on your devices. This permission doesn't give you ownership of the app, the Voznet brand or its content.
- The app asks for some phone permissions, always so that it can work:
- Microphone, to talk during the call.
- Notifications, for balance, top-up and support alerts.
- Contacts (optional), to call from your contacts. Your contacts are read on your phone and are not sent to our servers.
- Bluetooth, to use headphones or hands-free.
- Foreground service, so the call isn't cut off if you switch apps.
- We may publish updates. Some may be mandatory for security or technical reasons. In that case, the app will ask you to update before continuing.
- If you sign out, we delete your app data from the phone (local history, chat and notices). Your balance stays in your account.
- App stores (Google Play and App Store) have their own terms. Those companies are not responsible for the Voznet service.
11. Withdrawal, refunds and complaints
- Right of withdrawal. Under article 3 bis, letter b), of Law 19.496 (Chilean Consumer Protection Law), the right of withdrawal does not apply to balance top-ups or mobile top-ups. This is because they are services for immediate use and are available as soon as the payment is confirmed. We tell you this before you pay.
- We will refund your money (through the same payment method, or as we agree with you) in these cases:
- duplicate charge;
- confirmed payment whose balance was never added and that we couldn't add later;
- mobile top-up that was not applied;
- charges made because of an error on our side or in our systems.
- How to file a complaint. Message us on WhatsApp, by email or through the app chat, and include your Voznet number, the date and the receipt. We will reply within 5 business days. If the complaint is valid, we will make the refund within 10 business days. The bank's or payment method's processing times may be longer.
- You can always go to SERNAC (www.sernac.cl) or to the competent courts.
12. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using Voznet whenever you want and ask us to close your account and delete your data (see the Privacy policy). Any balance left when the account is closed is not refunded, except in the cases in section 11.
- We can suspend or close an account for breaking these terms (section 9), by order of an authority, or to protect the account holder in case of suspicious use. When the law allows it, we will notify you and you can give your side of the story.
- If Voznet stops providing the service, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and offer you a way to use or get back your remaining balance.
13. Liability
We are responsible for the service according to Chilean law and, in particular, Law 19.496 on the Protection of Consumer Rights. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that law gives you and that can't be waived.
We are not responsible for damages caused by:
- misuse of your account because you didn't take care of your phone or your SMS code;
- failures of your internet connection or the destination network;
- unforeseeable events or force majeure;
- using the service for prohibited purposes.
14. Communications
We will send you the necessary service notices through the app, SMS, WhatsApp or email: access codes, top-up confirmations, balance, changes to rates or to these terms, and support replies. We will only send you promotions if you haven't objected. You can stop receiving them whenever you want by replying "no más promociones" (no more promotions) on any channel or by turning off notifications.
15. Personal data
We handle your data according to our Privacy policy, which is part of these terms. There we explain what data we use, what for, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights. Voznet does not record the content of your calls.
16. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms, for example, because of changes in the service or in the law. If the change is important, we will notify you at least 15 days in advance, and the app will ask you to accept the new version before you keep using it. If you don't agree, you can close your account. The current version, with its date, is always published at voznet.cl/terminos-y-condiciones.
17. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Disputes will be heard by the competent courts according to Law 19.496. As a consumer, you can file a claim at the local police court (juzgado de policía local) where you live or where we are located.
